About

The Office of Tribal Legislative Liaison in Michigan was established by Public Act 208 of 2024. This act, which was enrolled on December 12, 2024, creates a point of contact between Michigan's federally recognized tribes and the state legislature. The office is intended to foster a government-to-government relationship and facilitate consultation during the development of legislation that affects tribal communities.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Jamie Stuck will begin this role of Tribal Legislative Liaison on August 18th, 2025.
