I am not sure if you have full understanding of it means to be a pharmacist and why passing Jurisprudence exam is necessary. pls take into consideration the suggested changes below. Rule 338.523 Issue Suggested change 338.523(2)(b) Pass the MPJE as required under R 338.519Provide an attestation to the department that the applicant has sufficient knowledge of the code and the board’s rules to competently practice pharmacy in this state. A pharmacist needs knowledge of both state and federal regulations to competently practice in this state as identified in the competency statements of the MPJE exam. This would allow an applicant who failed the Michigan MPJE to obtain a license in another state and then by endorsement get licensed in Michigan if they attest to the department that Leave the language as is in 338.523(2)(b) Pass the MPJE as required under R 338.519.
